Vaults

Passwork vaults are root-level encrypted containers that store folders and passwords. Vaults use a special cryptographic algorithm that keeps your data safe. You can create vaults for various projects, departments, and other divisions within your company or for your personal needs.

There are two basic types of vaults in Passwork: user vaults and company vaults.

  • User vaults are divided into private and shared vaults
  • A vault becomes shared when you add other users to it
  • Company vaults are vaults that have their own non-removable administrators and options for flexible configuration

Vaults of different types are displayed in separate blocks of the Navigation column.
