System settings
System settings offer a wide range of options for managing and configuring Passwork. They are designed to provide the best possible user experience and improve security while using Passwork.
Users and authorization
The Users and authorization section contains settings for user self-registration, automatic confirmation of new users, two-factor authentication and self-recovery of the authorization password.

Sessions
In the Sessions section, you can enable additional cookie protection and configure session history retention.

Account lockout policies
In this section you can set account lockout parameters on login: limit on failed attempts before lockout, timeframe for tracking failed attempts and the lockout period.

Authorization password complexity policies
Authorization password complexity policies allow you to set the minimum requirements for passwords used to sign in into Passwork.

Master password complexity policies
Authorization password complexity policies allow you to set the minimum requirements for the master password.

Browser extension
The settings in this section decide whether the extension will use non-strict URL subdomain search and take the URL port into account when searching.

Interface
In the Interface section you can set the default setting for interface language, time zone and date format.

Email service settings
In the Email service settings you can configure the email service, enable and test email notifications.

Notifications
In the Notifications section, you can enable email notifications and configure notification history retention.

Custom banner
You can enable a Custom banner for important notifications, alerts or instructions that will be shown to all users of your Passwork.

Search settings
In the Search section, you can set the maximum number of substrings for the search and reindex all passwords. For a detailed description of how the search works in Passwork, see the Configure search page.

Favicons
In the Favicons section you can enable favicon downloads and reset their cache.
