Authorization and 2FA

Passwork administrators and users with sufficient rights can manage authorization settings for each user.

To do so, open a user's page and click Authorization and 2FA in the rightside panel:

Here you can toggle authorization methods that will be available to the user:

Resetting passwords

warning

A user whose master password was reset will be disconnected from all vaults

If a user loses or forgets their local password or master password, it can always be reset. After doing so, a new temporary password will be generated, allowing the user to log into Passwork and change it to a new permanent password.

After clicking Reset, a pop-up with a temporary password will appear.

To reset user's two-factor authentication, click Reset in the corresponding line:
